A quiet and serene nightly vacation rental home only minutes from Fairystone Park and Philpott Lake in beautiful southwest Virginia. We offer clean, comfortable and affordable accommodations for you and your family, either nightly or by the week.

The home is fully furnished right down to the sugar for your coffee. There is plenty of room to sleep around 7-8 people, maybe more. We offer 3 bedrooms and a full sleeper sofa in the common room. We also offer one full and one half bathrooms stocked with fresh linens. We offer a fully stocked kitchen with full size appliances, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, blender, hand held mixer, pots, pans, dishes, silverware and linens. All you need to bring is your groceries. You may want to bring that special pot or pan as every cook has their favorites!! We offer a large outdoor picnic table, 12 foot long, to seat all your family and friends for dining alfresco!!  There is a private dining area on the back deck for that nice romantic dinner. A small charcoal grill is on the premises.

There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with full size beds, 1 with a twin bed geared toward children but will sleep a teen or adult. There is also a sleeper sofa with full size bed in the common room. All the beds are drenched in luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets for your comfort. There is a queen size air mattress that can also be placed on the floor. There are 2 large window air conditioning units. A full size commercial strength washer and dryer, iron and ironing board are on the premise too. You will be greeted with a large canister of The Fairy's Rest own homemade laundry soap for you to use and enjoy while staying here! We understand how hard it is to pack for a week away from home and try to anticipate a families needs.

With all these items furnished your packing will be at a minimum. All you need are some groceries, swim wear, beach towels and sunscreen! Oh yeah, don't forget your camera!! You won't want to miss a thing. Might as well bring your bass boat, pontoon, canoe, kayak and fishing rod. The fishing is great on Philpott Lake and Fairystone Lake too!!!

Guys, don't forget about the great hunting locally!  Bring your gun and your hunting buddies and don't worry about making your bed or sleeping in a stinky old hunting cabin just because you are a hunter. You will find The Fairy's Rest is comfortable, clean and not too frilly!

Ladies, why not schedule a girls weekend and leave the guys at home with the kids??? Take in some of the great local events or have a girls day antiquing! You will find The Fairy's Rest just frilly enough that you and your friends will feel pampered!
